Every year several groups from schools and universities come and visit Valencia for a study trip. This year they came from Germany, Italy, France and the Netherlands.
Route 66 Idiomas arranges almost everything for these groups: transport by plane, train or bus to and from Valencia, Spanish classes (of course) here at our school, accommodation with a Spanish family, in an apartment, hotel or hostel and all the activities they like. All of this depends on the requirements of the school or university which is planning to visit this beautiful city.
The activities we organize are very diverse: bicycle tours, company visits, treasure hunts or attending a Valencia FC or Levante football match: all exiting and fun things to do.
However, our most successful activity involves meeting students from local schools or universities: an “Intercambio”. These meetings can take place at local schools or universities, but also in a bar or restaurant. Through a series of games or competitions, the students get to know each other and can practise their Spanish skills (and the Spanish students practise their English; that’s why it’s called an Intercambio :-)). When the games are finished, the students will usually have lunch or dinner together, or will go out and have a drink :-)!
