Our spanish teachers

Pilar Hernández :

  • is Director of Studies. She has a Spanish Language and Literature degree and considerable training and experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. She is an accredited DELE examiner for levels A1, A2 and C1. She coordinates our fantastic team of teachers, makes sure classes run smoothly, and organizes course timetables, groups and levels. Speak to her if you have any questions about your classes or studies.

Amanda Pulido :

  • has a degree in Hispanic Studies from Valencia University and a Master’s in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language: Language, Culture and Methodology from the University of Granada. She is currently studying for a Master’s in Secondary Education. Amanda is a patient teacher and creates a relaxed environment in her classes to allow learning to happen naturally.

Ana Soriano :

  • qualified as a school teacher but soon realised her true vocation was to teach Spanish. Since then she has done many specific training courses and is an accredited DELE examiner for levels A1 and A2.

Belén Alfayate :

  • has a degree in Hispanic Studies and a Master’s in Training and Refresher Training for Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language from the University of Valencia. As a teacher she adapts her classes to the needs and taste of her students, creating a pleasant study environment where they can learn while enjoying themselves.

Claudia Vérez :

  • has a degree in Spanish Language and Literature and Teaching. After graduation she went on to complete various specialized courses in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and work in a number of language schools. She has worked with us since 2014. Come and meet her.

Cristina López :

  • has a Spanish Language and Literature degree and is currently studying for her Master’s in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. She is an accredited DELE examiner for levels B1, B2, C1 and C2. She spent a year working at a secondary school is the USA where she got a C1 level in English and considerable experience working with teenagers. She is also an actress and singer. You’ll have a great time in her classes, so don’t miss out!

Édgar Ferri :

  • has a Spanish Language and Literature degree and extensive experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. He has even taught Spanish in Poland! He is an accredited DELE examiner for levels C1 and C2. He loves board games and crazy conversations. Come and see for yourself!

Elena Montagud :

  • has a Spanish Language and Literature degree and a Master’s in Secondary Education. She has been working at our school since she did work experience here in summer 2012 and we realised we could never let her leave ;). She is also an author. Put her name into Google and you’ll see how many books she has published.

Maite Soriano :

  • is the second of the Soriano sisters who started working with us. She studied teaching, tried teaching Spanish and ever since she hasn’t been able to stop. A teacher with lots of experience, patience and enthusiasm. No student is able to resist her :)

María Campos :

  • is our most exotic teacher: the product of a Valencian father and Moroccan mother, she is fluent in Spanish, French and Moroccan. She has a degree in Hispanic Studies and a Master’s in Secondary Education. She is a very enthusiastic teacher with a great interest in other cultures.

María Jiménez :

  • has a Spanish Language and Literature degree and considerable experience in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. She is an accredited DELE examiner for levels A1 and A2. María also loves teaching our youngest students and is our specialist in teaching Spanish to children.

Mónica Moya :

  • has a Spanish Language and Literature degree and is an accredited DELE examiner for levels B1 and B2. She has been working with us since 2012 and we are delighted to have her on board. Everyone wants to be in Mónica’s classes. Come and find out why!

Pep Revert :

  • is the second actor we have in the school. But then, all teachers are actors sometimes! ;) Pep has a degree in Dramatic Arts and a postgraduate diploma in Spanish Methodology and Teaching. He is our literacy specialist as he has considerable experience teaching Spanish to migrants. He also translates Arabic. What more could we ask of him?

Sandra Barrios :

  • has a degree in Hispanic Studies and a teaching vocation. She also has a Master’s in Training and Refresher Training for Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language. She wants students to enjoy themselves in her classes and stay motivated to learn. She’s crazy about educational games ;) Come to study and enjoy learning with her!

Vicent Cucarella :

  • has a PhD in English Language and Literature but loves languages so much he couldn’t help but be drawn into teaching Spanish. He is a fantastic teacher if you want to study Spanish grammar by comparing and contrasting it to English.
