What level is this exam?
Students of the DELE A1 level should have sufficient linguistic ability to engage in situations that require a basic level of communication. It is equivalent to level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

What’s the exam like?
The DELE A1 is made up of 4 papers:
- Reading comprehension (45 min)
- Writing (25 min)
- Aural comprehension (20 min)
- Conversation (15 min).
