Sí, es cierto, he estado en China, casi todo el personal y alumnado de Route 66 lo sabe. Sobre todo son conscientes de este hecho los estudiantes chinos de la academia, con quienes he compartido unas cuantas ’sesiones de intercambio de información’ y quienes me llenaron la agenda de post-its con simbolitos extraños que parecían indicar nombres de calles, platos típicos y frases estúpidas a la par que útiles, tipo “Estoy perdido, ¿dónde hay una parada de metro?”.
China es para vivirla, no para verla. Para flipar cuando los chinos te piden que te hagas una foto con ellos, como si fueras un famoso; para abrir bien los ojos al ver a un bebé abrir las piernas y orinar a través de la raja que sus pantalones llevan en la entrepierna; para dar las gracias cuando te dan a probar un dulce típico o un yogur que no necesita frío; para soltar toda tu rabia cuando no te dejan cruzar la frontera porque no te pareces a la persona que sale en la foto de tu pasaporte.
