Nirvana vs Rick Astley

Sadly, there are probably a lot of you who are too young to remember Rick Astley or Nirvana. But for those of you who can, this is absolute genius.

Beyonce’s Single Ladies “en español”

This was seen a lot because Buenafuente featured it on his show. And quite rightly too – it’s brilliant!

In fact, if you want to see some of the funnier Buenafuente stuff (well, funny or excruciating, depending on your sense of humour):

Larsson’s Millennium Series

millenium

Having already sold 13 million copies worldwide, the phenomenon of the late Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy (and more recent film adaptations) seems to keep gaining fans by the day.

According to a recent article in El Pais, dedicated fans are now making pilgrimages to the places in Sweden mentioned in the books:

If you haven’t heard anything about the series yet, you can follow these links to find out more. Note that the English version book titles are very different to the Spanish (and the original Swedish):

In Spanish: http://www.serielarsson.com/

Tip: the paperback versions in English are available to buy here in Valencia and cost half the price of the very large Spanish versions… but they aren’t as pretty. Quickly hooked, I raced through both the first two installments and am now waiting to borrow the third. The third book has already been published in Spanish, but you’ll have to wait to next year to read it in English.
