BREAD PUDDING (DESSERT)

With bread rests or 1 and a half small baguette
Cut the bread in little pieces and poor some lukewarm milk over it, so it gets soft. Then squeeze it through a sieve. Put it into a bowl and add 4 or 5 eggs, half a cup full of sugar, 1 teaspoon of yeast, lemon or orange or vanilla paring and mix everything. POLENTA OR CORN FLOUR WITH TUCO (SAUCE)

Make the polenta as indicated on the package. Aside you prepare a tuco (sauce) with an onion, a pepper, garlic, minced meat and tomato sauce.
OLIVER AND THE ELECTRONIC MUSIC

What is electronic music? Well, it’s a type of music which was designed in the 1950s with sign generators and synthetic sounds. Before the music could be used in real time it had to be recorded on a tape which allowed the composers to handle the sounds easily, for example the use of repetitive swapped loops.
Electronic music allows its user to modificate, disassemble, accelerate the musical elements. The only limite is the composer’s creativity, as the machines let you do anything you want.
Nowadays the expression “electronic music” can be confusing for the people because it covers a big spectrum of different styles like house, techno, ambient, trance, hip-hop, drum and bass…
The importance of electronic music startet in the 1980s in the United States. Then, Chicago was the capital of house music pioniered by DJ Marshall Jefferson. Some years later, Detroit became the essential place for techno music with the famous DJ Jeff Mills who turned the world of techno music around. We mustn’t forget the triumph of acid house by the end of the 1980s in England. At this point of time electronic music was already known throughout the world. Starting in the 90s it became more popular and got still more diverse. Electronic minimal music, electro klash and drum and bass became more important in the middle of the nineties.
Nowadays electronic music is everywhere and of course you can dance to it. In Valencia, you can find some places with this type of music: Latex and Le Club du Pop offer pure and high-quality music. They are without a doubt the two places which offer the best electronic music programme.
DON’T MISS THIS MONTH: FERIA DE JULIO

Like every year, in the second two weeks of July the Feria de Julio will take place in Valencia counting with a wide range of different events like cultural acts, concerts and the famous Valencian fireworks.
The Feria de Julio was created in the 19th century by the merchants of the city as a means of preventing the Valencian bourgeoisie and middle class from leaving the city during the summer months. As a common practice they went to places like the Cantabrian beaches because of their fresher climate. The Valencian bourgeoisie met in pabellones and stands to celebrate the fair.
