GOING OUT IN VALENCIA

Usually the valencian nightlife begins with a dinner at around 10 p.m. Afterwards you have a drink – preferably on a terrace in the summer – and continue in a club with music and dancing. When those bars close – at around 4 a.m. usually – you go to one of the various discotheques of the city.

ARROZ AL HORNO (rice baked in the oven with a clay dish)

Recipe from Eva García, student of English in our Academia

INGREDIENTS (FOR 4 PERSONS)

1,5 litres of meat broth or water
200 gr. pork ribs in small pieces
500 gr. rice
250 gr. chickpeas already boiled
2 ripe tomatoes divided in two parts
3 middle sized potatoes
4 onion morcillas
100 gr. bacon
1 bulb of garlic
saffron
salt and olive oil.
